Uptown Drum Circle to host event on Broadway Avenue

The Uptown Drum Circle is hosting an event this Saturday, June 1 from 6 p.m. to 9p.m. on Broadway Avenue in Columbus. 

The event will be family-friendly with a kids corner that features face painting, temporary tattoos, temporary colored hairspray, and lip-shaped noise makers.  Other activities include mucisians, local goods and services raffle, a yoga demo by Art of Yoga Studio, belly and fire dance demo with jingly hip scarves available for purchase, and a re-purposed art exhibition and auction.

COLUMBUS, GA - Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center is having a special ribbon cutting this Thursday. Not only are they offering a preview of the public grand opening on Saturday, but they are also going to add three alligators to their exhibition pond and releasing 220 Painted Lady butterflies.
